S agewood offers a variety of after school clubs and activities including, but not limited to, Jazz Band, Role Playing, Game Boys & Girls, Book Club, International Club and Ski Club. Service organizations include W.E.B., a mentor program for incoming 7th graders, National Junior Honor Society, Yearbook, Student Buddies, Student Council, and Roots and Shoots, a recycling club.
Due to the elimination of activity buses, all parents are responsible for picking up their student within 15 minutes after the conclusion of his/her game, practice, club or any other activity for which the student stays after school, whether voluntary or assigned. There will be no supervision of students not picked up in compliance with this rule, and parents assume all responsibility for their student. Douglas County School District/Sagewood Middle School assumes no liability and has no responsibility for students not picked up within 15 minutes of the conclusion of any after school activity.
