A mandatory senior meeting will be held during Advisement (10:20 a.m.) on Wednesday, Dec. 2 in the auditorium. Representatives from Jostens will giving information on caps and gowns, announcements and other graduation items that can be ordered. Order packets will be given out.Announcements
New Teen Drivers Law Effective December 1
December 1, a new law will come into effect that bans sending text messages while driving. Further, it bans drivers under the age of 18 from both talking and texting on cell phones.
Colorado’s Teen Motor Vehicle Leadership Alliance, a group of government and private agencies focused on issues specific to teen drivers, are holding a Public Service Announcement (PSA) contest for students that they hope will get the message out to young drivers. Students may submit one entry per PSA category, which include video, audio and print.

Winter Athletic Sign up
Winter Athletics ( Boys & Girls Basketball, Girls Swimming, Boys wrestling) Sign up will be Oct.26th - Nov. 9th. If your student played a Fall sport they still have to have a new E-card and $100 check.

No On-street Parking at Shea
There will be no parking on the street next to Shea Stadium for football games this year. The City has informed us that they will be ticketing. Click here for details about parking.
Open Campus Policy Now Available
Beginning with the 2009 – 2010 school year, open campus has been approved for high schools. The policy change would not allow freshman students to leave school grounds. 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students, who do not have a regularly scheduled class period, may leave campus (including lunch).
