Beginning July 1, 2009 the counseling office will be assessing $3.00 per official transcript with the first two being complimentary for current students. RCHS graduates will also be charged $3.00 per official transcript. All BYU or other online tests will be charged a $25.00 proctoring fee. Monies (cash or check) will be collected prior to services.ThunderRidge High School will be hosting a college fair on Wednesday, October 28th from 6:00-7:30 p.m. There will also be a financial aid presentation by College in Colorado and College Invest in the ThunderRidge Auditorium from 5:30-6:15 p.m. For information, please go to the TRHS website>Counseling>Post Grad>College Fairs.
If you are interested in attending the financial aid presentation, but are unable to make it on the 28th, please note that RCHS will also be hosting a financial aid night in February. More information will be posted as details are solidified.
The Princeton Review announced that Rob Franek will be doing a presentation “How to Choose the College That’s Right for You and How to Pay for It” at the Tattered Cover Bookstore in Highlands Ranch on Wednesday, October 21st at 7:00 p.m. Franek will offer tips and tricks for students and parents who want to learn about the college admissions process. He will also be on hand to answer questions and discuss college concerns. Admission is free.

Scheduling an Appointment to See Your Counselor
We encourage any student who wants to meet with their counselor to come into the counseling office and schedule an appointment through our secretaries. We ask students to schedule their appointment during a class period they can afford to miss. A pass will be delivered to the student prior to the meeting.

The 2009-10 Guide for the College-Bound Student-Athlete is now available. The Guide provides important information and key steps for high school student-athletes and parents as they begin the initial-eligibility process. To access them, follow the steps below.

- Click on “Resources” at the top of the screen.
