RCHS FUNDRAISING GOAL - $100,000

LocalValue

Dear Rock Canyon High School Parents and Supporters,

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT.  Rock Canyon High School and its many athletic and activity groups have enrolled in the Local Value Fundraising (LVF) Program. The LVF Program allows parents and supporters to purchase LVF credits, which may be used as partial payment, typically 10-20% of a bill, for goods and services offered by hundreds of local businesses in Douglas County.

For example: If your family dined at Lil’ Ricci’s Pizza and your bill was $50, you could pay $40 in real currency and the other $10 with LVF credits. Credits are worth $1.00 each.  By using credits as partial payment for this purchase, you would have helped RCHS earn $4.  The typical family could raise over $100 per year just using LVF credits each time they dine out.  If families were to use LVF credits towards many of their local purchases, they could effectively raise several hundred dollars each year for RCHS.  Here are a few program highlights:

40%-50% of the money you spend purchasing LVF Credits is donated to the school fundraising group you choose.  Just click on their link. An additional 10% is donated to the Douglas County Educational Foundation.
When using credits as partial payment, you save 2-6% on your local purchases. Hundreds of companies accept Local Value credits and more are joining the program.   You can purchase credits for restaurants, many personal services, auto repair, hair salons, pet products, home-improvement items, entertainment places, sporting goods and much, much more. By purchasing LVF credits for things you need or want and using them as partial payment, you will be supporting our school and its many fundraising groups as well as the local economy.

As a school, we have set a goal of earning a minimum $100,000 per year with the LVF Program.  This will easily be accomplished if even half of our student families and/or supporters commit to purchasing (100) LVF credits for $80, four times per year, for products and services they already buy.

WE DO NOT EXPECT ANY FAMILIES OR SUPPORTERS TO PURCHASE CREDITS FOR ITEMS THAT ARE NOT IN THEIR BUDGET.  SIMPLY BUY CREDITS FOR THINGS YOU ROUTINELY PURCHASE.  THAT IS THE KEY TO THIS PROGRAM.

TO PURCHASE CREDITS AND SUPPORT ANY SCHOOL FUNDRAISING GROUP, PLEASE CLICK ON OR GO TO THE LINK AT THE TOP.  SUPPORT THE GROUP OF YOUR CHOICE BY CLICKING ON THEIR NAME AND THEN CLICKING ON THE “BEGIN SHOPPING” BUTTON ON THEIR LVF FUNDRAISING PAGE.

I am very excited about this new program and encourage all RCHS supporters to shop for LVF Credits.

Sincerely,
