Thanks to our RCHS Coaches!

We have over 80 coaches, head and assistant, at RCHS and we are individually diverse. Some of have moved their families from Kansas, Texas, California and Washington, to teach here, while many are Colorado natives. Some of our coaches are new to the teaching profession; some have earned 30-year pins. Many of our coaches are parents themselves and have school-aged children. They are outdoorsman, long-distance runners, tri-athletes, college instructors, hunters, scuba divers, former college athletes, former college coaches, bikers, swimmers, business professionals, and former professional athletes. Their education preparation and experience is extensive.

Collectively coaches teach your children. Their primary goal is to provide RCHS athletes with the very best experience possible; they desire to produce young people with enthusiasm, competence and character. To that end these coaches work hard to stay professionally prepared and academically updated. They strive to provide motivation and model credible coaching/teaching. They appreciate your support.

On the field and in the classroom RC coaches enjoy high school students. Student’s capacity to learn and excel is a challenge to coaches; their dreams and aspirations are an inspiration. Our coaches consider it a privilege to be a part of a process that will enable young people to advance and become a responsible citizen who will contribute to our society.
Our Mission is to Empower, Explore, Encourage, and Excel in Athletics. We hope you enjoy watching our teams throughout the year.

Thank you Rock Canyon Coaches!
