Parking Rules SCHOOL PARKING REGULATIONS PERMITS ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE! 1 . All automobiles parked on the school grounds must be registered with the school and must display the current decal in the DRIVER SIDE LOWER LEFT CORNER of the front windshield. If another vehicle is driven, a temporary permit must be obtained from the security office (7:00 a.m. - 7:20 a.m.) 2 . Parking is strictly limited to the student parking area. Faculty parking is marked accordingly and is "off limits" to students. 3 . The school is NOT responsible for the automobile or its contents. 4 . Students may NOT be in the parking lot during the school day without a pass from an administrator. 5 . There is to be no speeding, over 15 miles per hour, or any form of reckless driving on the school grounds. Students may be ticketed by the Douglas County Sheriff if there are repeated offenses. 6 . Student Vehicles may be subject to search if there are reasonable grounds to believe that drugs, alcohol, stolen property or other contraband might be present in the vehicle or if it is believed that any kind of activity is taking place in the vehicle that is against school rules or is criminal. 7 . Parking regulations are strictly enforced. It is considered a privilege to park on school grounds. Suspension of driving privileges, monetary fine, and/or suspension from school may occur when violations of these regulations occur. 8 . Students who purchase or are given a permit from another student, or who incorrectly register a vehicle as theirs, will lose their permit and parking privileges. No refund will be issued. 9 . Continued use of a vehicle to leave campus without permission or by driving through private property may result in loss of driving privileges and other disciplinary action including suspension.
