The Mountain Vista High School Counseling Department is a comprehensive guidance and counseling program facilitating student growth in academics, career, and personal / social development. We are committed to serving and supporting students, families, and staff through listening, problem-solving, informing, guiding, nurturing, for the purpose of inspiring all toward extraordinary efforts.

How To See A Counselor

~Students - Counselors have sign-up sheets on a clipboard that hangs next to their door. Sign-up in the time slot you want to see your counselor. Mrs. Neely will give you a pass to return on the day of your appointment.
~Parents - Please call 303-387-1526 to make an appointment or to speak with your student's counselor.

Part of a comprehensive site on engineering career information.
FastAid
Large, free online scholarship data base also financial aid information.
Fast Web
Very comprehensive site contains a database of over 600,000 scholarships and is growing all the time. Complete a questionnaire and Fast Web will give you a list of scholarships for which you are eligible. Some scholarship applications are available on line. Fast Web will also notify you if additional scholarships are added to its data base that are a match for you.
Free Scholarship Search
While this data base was created for students who attend UCLA, students attending any college would find useful leads at this site.
GeoScholarships
Free scholarship search site also has links to other financial aid information.
Guaranteed Scholarships
This comprehensive site lists scholarships that are unlimited in number, and require no interview, essay, portfolio, audition competition of other "secondary" requirements. The scholarships are listed by college. This site would be especially useful to valedictorians and other students with outstanding qualifications.
Hispanic Fund
This site lists scholarships for Hispanic students and universities who participate in the Hispanic Fund scholarship program.
