COLLEGE APPLICATIONS MADE EASIER
BY UTILIZING THE HRHS POST GRAD CENTER

Find college applications on college websites or in the Post Grad Center. Log on to Naviance and add college names to your "Colleges I am Applying To". Complete the FERPA (Federal Education Rights and Privacy Act) permission in Naviance to allow electronic transmission of your transcript and other documents. See Mrs. Smith or your Counselor if you need help logging on to Naviance.

Complete the Student Personal Profile Form for Teacher Recommendation for colleges that require any Teacher recommendations. Print your completed Student Personal Profile and give copies to your selected academic Teacher(s) at least 3-4 weeks before application deadline. Ask the Teacher(s) to submit his or her recommendation and complete any required forms through Naviance.

If a Counselor recommendation is required, make your senior interview appointment with your counselor immediately. Bring the counselor recommendation form and a copy of your Student Personal Profile for Counselors to Post Grad with your completed transcript request.

Complete one Current Student Transcript Request Form for each application you submit. Bring your request to Post Grad at least 10 School days before application deadline. Each transcript request costs one dollar ($1.00).

A counselor's signature, official transcript, test score info, and recommendation letters will be compiled in Post Grad and the application packet will be sent directly to the college or university by the Post Grad Secretary.

Any mid-year grade report forms or requests should be given to Post Grad with your application or as soon as you receive them. Requests will be fulfilled as soon as mid-year grades are available to be sent out.

Scholarship applications are handled in the same manner as college applications and require a Transcript Request Form.

Senior student athletes should complete their NCAA Eligibility registration online by the end of September at: http://eligibilitycenter.org/ECWR2/NCAA_EMS/NCAA.html. A Transcript Request, including your NCAA ID Number, should be completed and brought to the Post Grad Secretary.
