COLLEGE APPLICATIONS MADE EASIER
BY UTILIZING THE HRHS POST GRAD CENTER

Find college applications on college websites or in the Post Grad Center.

Complete one Student Personal Profile Form (see Post Grad Forms link) for colleges that require any Teacher recommendations. Photocopy your completed Student Profile and give a copy to your selected academic Teacher(s) at least 3-4 weeks before application deadline. Ask Teacher(s) to give his or her recommendation directly to the Post Grad Secretary.

If a Counselor recommendation is required, make your senior interview appointment with your counselor immediately. Bring the counselor recommendation form and a copy of your Senior Profile for Counselors (see link) to Post Grad with your completed application.

Complete an HRHS Transcript Request Form (see link) for each application you prepare (remember this includes online applications, as well). Bring completed paper applications or pages from web applications, any required application fee (checks payable to college) and your personal essay (if required) to Post Grad at least 10 School days before application deadline.

A counselor's signature, official transcript, test score info, and recommendation letters will be compiled in Post Grad and the complete application packet will be mailed directly to the college or university by the Post Grad Secretary.

Scholarship applications are handled in the same manner as college applications.

Any mid-year grade report forms or requests should be given to Post Grad with your application or as soon as you receive them. Requests will be held on file until mid-year grades are available to be sent out.

Student athletes should complete their NCAA Eligibility registration online at http://web1.ncaa.org/eligibilitycenter/common/ by the end of September. Transcript Release Form #1 and #2 should be printed from the NCAA website, signed and brought to the Post Grad Secretary.
