HRHS has a goal to increase the number of freshmen earning 6.5 credits by 5% (from 80% in 2007 to 85% in 2008) in its School Improvement Plan.
Research shows that students who earn 6.5 credits out of a possible 7 credits their freshman year in high school are more likely to graduate from high school on time. There are approximately 480 9th graders in the class of 2011 at this point.
