This committee serves as liaison between the NASC conference and media. Pre conference responsibilities include issuing press releases and ensuring appropriate media coverage. It will also keep advisors updated on progress and conference plans.
During the NASC conference, the Public Relations committee will continue to arrange for media coverage on a daily basis by contacting media sources, meeting with those sources, providing a press room and issuing press kits. Additionally, this committee is responsible for photographing groups, states, and conference committees. The Public Relations committee continually works to make the public aware of conference events and news.

A message from Lauren:

The 2009 conference is going to be great and I’m excited to be on the “ground floor”. Working with the media and preparing press kits is a constantly evolving task as events are added and this conference evolves. Keep checking our website for updates as conference date approaches!
