Educational Philosophy
I believe it is important to create an environment in which students are empowered to be effective users of information and technology in a learning community. We need to assist students in acquiring the knowledge and skills to gather, analyze and apply information and ideas to solve problems. I see my job as recognizing where students are in the learning process and furthering their growth to a higher level of competence, confidence and understanding. Today schools, families, and communities share the responsibility for preparing young people for living, learning and working in a global culture that is increasingly connected through multi-media and influenced by powerful images, words, sounds and ideas. |
Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve.
