Educational Philosophy

A wise woman once told me that if you learn to read you can do anything in life.  That wise woman was my mom.  She helped spark a desire in me to read and love books.
I am most comfortable when I am surrounded by books, reading to my children, and sharing an amazing book with a child.

Passion in life - To teach children to love books.
Fondest memory - When my daughter at an early age chose a book, snuggled in a comfy chair started to read it and laughed out loud.
Favorite books - Ask me, I have a very long list.
Disappointments - When a child tells me he/she hates to read.
Challenges - Getting that child that hates to read, a book that they can’t put down.
Trying to figure out how I can walk and read at the same time.
