information One of the most important pieces of any relationship is ongoing communication. This is especially true when it comes to the relationship between home and school; the welfare of our students is at stake, as we attempt to ensure that our students are safe, and are being served as effectively as possible. Coyote Creek is continually trying to improve the way we communicate with our parent community.
Currently, we have these avenues for communication between home and school:

• telephone and voice mail,
• CCE website,
Douglas County Schools website,
• email (which can be accessed through the CCE website and the DCSD website),
• post office mailings,
• the Chronicle (school newsletter),
• Coyote Communications sheet in the Chronicle,
• classroom newsletters,
• Thursday Folders,
• Instructional Insights publication sent home in Thursday Folders,
• PTA Board members,
• Coyote Creek Connection (PTA newsletter),
• School Advisory Council members,
• Information Board (just inside the main entrance),
• our school marquee.

As more technology becomes available, we want to expand its impact on our ability to communicate effectively. In the meantime, we will continue to do our best to keep parents informed, and will continue to depend on parents to provide timely and important information about the children we share for a few hours each day.
