Dear Coyote Creek families,
I am extremely pleased to introduce myself to you as the new Principal of Coyote Creek Elementary. As we embark upon our partnership in educating your child, I would like to share a little about myself. My family includes my wife Joeli; son Jackson (7); daughter Sofia (3); dogs Deli, Sid, & Jack; and cats Phil and Boxer. Prior to my arrival at Coyote Creek I served as the Principal of Monterey Elementary in Colorado Springs. I enjoyed building a strong team of teachers, parents and students who worked hard to close the achievement gap. I have served 8 years in education, 5 of which were as an administrator. Prior to my entry into public education, I served in the corporate world as a financial advisor, and prior to that I served in the Army during the tail-end of the first Gulf War.
I would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to you regarding our grand re-opening on August 4th @ 4:30. We will have ice cream provided by the PTO while we enjoy celebrating your children. I hope to see you there.
As we begin our relationship, I would like to learn more about you and your child. If you see me “out and about,” please stop me and introduce yourself. Otherwise, feel free to call me personally if you have any questions regarding our school. I will be glad to shake your hand, talk over a cup of coffee, or just simply listen. Our partnership will be a strong and meaningful part of your child’s education.
That partnership begins today.
Sincerely,
Rob Brill
Principal
