It is very important to exercise. If you don’t exercise your body will struggle to fight off germs and stay healthy.

The message at our station was that exercising is very important because you could get a disease if you don’t exercise. We were also trying to get students into the habit of thinking “exercising is fun, and good for your body.”

       At our booth, students had an opportunity to try some different ways to exercise. The students tried hopscotch, jump rope, stretching, and yoga balls.

For the yoga balls, we had the kids do different stretches. For stretching, there were two stations, one had a mat and a leg stretcher, and the other one had a turn and stretch area. For hopscotch, we had them play a game of hopscotch in a group of four. The students tried new jump rope tricks. A fun, healthy time was had by all!
